Finding installation companies in Grantham has never been so easy!
That is an incredibly important question to answer before sealing yourself into any installation work. You want to know exactly what you are going to spend your money on, especially if you are working to a budget.
Conservatories are one of the most affordable extension options available, especially when compared to full brick house extensions which can set you back tens of thousands at a minimum. While the cost often depends on the size of the conservatory as well as the materials you want it built from, a uPVC conservatory typically costs between £5000 and £16,000. This, as well as its often lack of needed planning permission, makes it a highly affordable and quick to install extension option.

I recently bought my first house and the thing it was lacking was a porch and so I contacted Starglaze and they fitted me a porch, this now makes my house so special. Nothing was too much trouble and the efficiency was good.

We were in the market to replace our old double glazing...90's 'Leade Lights' stuff. Invited a major national supplier to quote, as we had had their windows in our house in Bristol. Almost predictably, the price started at something astronomic and worked it's way down via various supposed discounts. Final price was dependent upon our using their finance offer, at 17.9%APR. If not using the Bank of Robin Hood, the price rose by £2,900. Utter joke...we almost laughed. We then called in Starglaze. Different ballgame. Sales chap, measured, listened, made suggestions and gave us bottom-line price which was much more attractive. Long story short all was agreed and installation date given. I then gave Starglaze ops dept a minor heart attack by insisting that the installation was due to start 'tomorrow' rather than a month from now. They were very nice and didn't once suggest I was an idiot for completely misreading their letter. Installation was done, they arrived a day early and fitted 3 windows, much to our pleasant surprise. Tradesmen normally fail to turn up...never before had one turn up a day early. Bit of an issue at the factory, apparently, but windows were fine. They fitted all the rest, plus new patio doors. All went well except one upstairs window that, although it fitted, would not open correctly. Incorrect window left in place to keep house secure and correct replacement arrived following morning. The mark of a company is how it reacts to problems. Starglaze quite simply excelled. Nothing was too much trouble. They were nice guys, very polite, really got on with it and always left the place tidy. They do like their coffee, though... and it was a pleasure to keep them supplied. The installation was genuinely first class, and my total re-decoration time was less than 30 minutes for the whole house, (15 windows + patio doors), and only involved some minor touching-up of emulsion around the edges. A week or so later a window lock got stuck. One 'phone call and all sorted within 24 hours, (not a security issue). All upstairs windows are "Tilt & Turn", single pane and the extra light into the house.... without the horrible leaded lights... is incredible. As an added bonus, external noise levels inside the house have gone from low to darned near silent. These new windows are much more robust than the old ones. So, if you live in Lincolnshire or close and need new windows, just call Starglaze in Lincoln. We would recommend them to anyone, without reservation. All the staff we have spoken to are brilliant and seem to enjoy what they do. Sign of a good company.

Really pleased with our back door in the colour Chartwell Green. Very smooth open and close and security locking. Ordered and fitted within speedy time. Happy Days

We had all new windows and front and back doors. At no time were we made to feel pressured and they were excellent about us ordering and then putting the installations on hold until our funding came through. The installation teams were excellent and at no time were we left feeling that any problems they encountered were in any way our problems (we live in an old cottage). They just got the job done. They were very clean and tidy, making good each evening before they left. Prices were very comparable with other companies (even with the other companies' supa-special-one-day-only-phone-my-manager deals) and Starglaze's Georgian bars are a significant step up on many of their competitors. All in all excellent products and service, comparably priced. Have heartliy recommended them within our village, and everyone we speak with who have also use Starglaze have had similar excellent opinions.
IThe majority of conservatories with a tiled conservatory roof will not require planning permission. This is because they are covered under what is known as a 'permitted development.'
However, Building Regulations will apply if you want to build an extension on your home.
